Hi there I have a similar problem with my Krups 874, this the second coffee maker I have had, the gaggia evo ran out of steam after 15 seconds, It is my considered opinion that unless you spend £1000 on these things you wont get good quality reliable espresso or cappuccino, throw it away. The best cappuccino coffee I have ever made was by using the old style perculator, the two part metal one that you put on the gas just put the coffee in the basket screw the two halfs together and brew. the milk is put in to a caffatiere heated in the microwave and frothed using the strainer which is plunged up and down quickly a couple of dozen times ad this to half cup of coffee and choc powder on top ,Fantastic every time. I am now cured of spending hundreds of pounds only to be dissapointed
