my washer is leaking oil?

Hi The only place where oil would come from are the oil filled shock absorbers that hold the main drum. These will need replacing as the seals have gone. generally there are two of these. so replace both, as the other one could be on its way out.. Be warned that these support the weight of the drum and the concrete block (for balance). Remove the block first its usually held on with a couple of long nuts and bolts. then remove and replace one. Then repeat on the other shock. be very carefull with this remember that the drum will drop slightly make sure you dont have your hands in the way.
