Whats wrong with the interior lights on my car?

When i put the headlights on, the lights in the car that are supposed to come oh (i.e. The dashboard where the speedo is) don't come on. What is wrong and how can i fix this problem?

Hi Janet,
You may need to start with checking the appropriate fuse,it may have blowen. then the bulb illuminating the dash may have blown too will need to be replaced.
this will eliminate any bigger problem if it works.
