i have a chichester cannon gas oven, which has digital display for setting the time and timmer. Somehow i've locked the bottom oven, there is a symbol of a key showing and now i can't remove it and the oven won't come on plz help x

The ‘KEY’ symbol can be deleted and the cooker returned to manual operation by:
- Simultaneously pressing the Minute Minder and the Cook Period buttons for a period of approximately 8
seconds.
- Releasing the buttons and pressing the ‘+’ button.

"Key" symbol??? My Chichester does not have this symbol!

Are you certain that it is not set to "Auto" - if it is set to "Auto" the oven will not operate manually till "Auto" is removed. The word "Auto" runs vertically downwards immediately before the first digit in the display. Press the "Manual" button to remoce the "Auto" program.
