Does the pump still sound when you pull the stalk - if so you may be lucky and have a blockage in the pipers. The washers are held on by lugs, wrap a blade screwdriver to protect the paintwork and pry off. The tubes push fit onto the washers, immerse in warm water and blow through using a pin to clear/relaign the jets if necessary.
Follow the same principle to clear the tubes.
If there is no sound from the motor, check the simple stuff (fuses) then try connecting a multi-meter over the terminals and check for a circuit. If the motor is fried an online breaker is your best bet - it's not that uncommon for them to fail.
