when you stall, does the oil light come up on the dashboard?

I stall, and the steering wheel becomes heavy, whilst i am still driving, or slowing down to a junction/ even a roundabout. very very dangerous. the garage people said that its something to do with the plugs and leads... whatever that means. was wondering if this is common, for ford KA2.

When you stall your engine then the power steering pump will also stop working since, in most cases, it is driven by a belt from the engine and the steering will become VERY heavy!!!

The oil light will illuminate as soon as the oil pressure drops below a predetermined figure and all the other dash lights will come on.
