Im having a problem with my gilera dna just recently i took my rear mudguard / hugger off in hopes of making a new tail tidy for it. in the process i must have done something wrong as it now wont start. also i might add the brake lights dont work and neither do the indicators but the tail lights do and so does the reg plate light. The ignition does come on thought it just wont start.

I doubt you did anything wrong there, it's just screws holding it in, nothing electronic or attached to the engine - i took mine off with no trouble

Probably just a coincidence to be honest, you checked the wiring? it tends to come lose - try pushing the brake wires back in quite hard, mine did that.

As for the starting trouble is it the kickstart too or just the electronic ignition? if its both the spark plug could be the problem,

have you checked the fuses under the seat! they have a tendancy to blow easily!
you may have also inturupted the immobiliser which is linked in part to the rear brake lights!
these bikes r great but such tempormental electrics!
