My dryer just stopped working. There were no signs of trouble prior and the dryer is only 5 years old. The dryer has no power what so ever. I have checked the outlet and breakers, they are fine. Before I remove the back panel of the dryer, could there be an obvious reason for the problem?

I am going through the same thing right now. whirlpool says it sounds like the timer switch went out on mine, but i noticed if i push the start button several times it will throw a spark through the cord. I am having mine checked out this week by an electrician. good luck. if i find out anythign more before you do i will post it here. if you find out anything more please do the same.
