A6 wont start?

I have an audi A6 she turns over but doesnt start, she fired up for a second or so then stopped.

sounds like could be a key related fault have you got another key to try if so is it the same with both keys if so seems it could be key reader or immobiliser fault if 1 keys runs car other runs then cuts out possible key problem
