how do i remove the cover to the electricswitch on a panasonic mc-e465?

how do i remove the cover to the electrics area where the switch is on a panasonic mc-e465. Ive removed the 3 screws around the base of the handle and nothing will budge without breaking. help.

Thanks to this site, I can now get to the switch/cable, where I have a loose wire.
Many thanks - my manual was of NO use in this respect!!

Too late for Dave, but very helpful for John. I would just add that in removing the handle, having removed the large screw at the back you need to slide the handle backwards horizontally

Just found out how to do this out before I destroyed the cover too much.

Make sure you've disconnected the mains plug first.

Then you need to remove the handle, this is the 1 screw at the back, then it pulls off towards the back (you can also push on the screw). Then remove the 2 screws below cover - just inside the bag dust cover.

This may be a bit late for Dave, but hopefully will help someone else. Ta
