MY MEGANE WILL NOT START I HAVE REPLACED THE COIL, THERE IS PETROL, I HAVE NO SPARK IT WILL NOT TURN OVER NOTHING. IT SEEMS QUITE DEAD,CAN IT BE THE I.C.U. I AM REALLY LOST MY CAR IS JUST SITTING OUTSIDE DOING NOTHING++

Get a diagnostic test dun. I had 2 cuz I was being told different things I only bort the car FRIDAY last wk & it cut out MONDAY of this wk, it's cost me get it towed cuz all the electrics have gne & the engine wants 2 start but won't fire up it's the 'fuel injection computer' costing £805.66 inc VAT, labour & test etc! I'm getting Renault 2 do it cuz it needs codin etc & it's 12 mth parts guarantee. I no I'm holding on2 it 4 a gud many yrs so will try & scrape the £ 2gether.

If the engine won't turn over at all then it could be the starter motor, the ignition switch, or the immobiliser. Do you get a click when you turn the ignition to the 'start' position? any noises at all? Do the dashboard lights dim or go out?

Renaults are quite well known for remote locking and immobiliser faults. You probably need an auto electrician to go much further with it.
