fixing msn messenger?

Every time I try to sign on to msn it come sup with a box that say "Sorry, we were unable to sign you in to the .NET Messenger Service at this time. Please try again later. 80072f0d
But it has said it for days not if weeks.
I tryed to tak eit off my computer but it will nto let me...
and every time I try to reinstall it it can not do that in other words it will nto do anything...
But it works okay on the other computers I use...
Anybody got any ideas...

Not clear what could have caused this, but it is likely that you will need to uninstall MSN Messenger and reinstall it to get over this problem. The solution to your problem is going to be working out why you can't uninstall the copy you have.

Try (if you haven't) uninstalling it via control panel. Try microsoft.com & google.com to see if you can find a seperate uninstaller / clean up utility.

Once you have removed the old copy, you might find a new installation works.
