smeg dwf410ss stopped in mid cycle?

This smeg dishwasher stopped in mid cycle. It appeared as though it was just about to drain. The display panel has not shown up a fault and refuses to clear. When you attempt to restart, it just clunks. Is it a pcb problem?

I have this problem with mine, though it's intermittent.
It seems to be temperature related and only happens on the 65c wash program. It beeps once and all the lights go out and then you have to wait for up to an hour for it to cool before it beeps once again and the lights come back on. you can press pause and get it to continue the cycle at which point it drains, starts the rinse cycles and continues to the end.
I have had the door apart and made sure the connections to the control board were all on firmly. After doing this it was fine for several months but has now started doing it again. Currently using the bio program instead as this washes cooler and doesn't seem to trigger the problem.
