How can I fix my spongey brakes?

I have a 2003 Chev Trailblazer LS. The brakes are spongey and pedal will slowly go down when held. There are no fluid leaks. Will bleeding fix this problem?

YOUR MASTERCYLINDER HAS TO BE BLED.HAVE SOMEONE APPLY PRESSURE TO THE BRAKE PEDAL AND TURN THE BRAKELINES OFF FROM THE MASTERCYLINDER ONCE THE FLUID STARTS TO FLOW TIGHTEN THE LINE BACK UP FOLLOW THE SAME PROCEDURES WITH THE OTHER LINES MAKE SURE THE PEDAL GOES TO THE FLOOR AND HOLD IT THERE UNTIL THE LINES ARE TIGHTEND UP ONCE THE LINE IS TIGHT RELEASE THE PEDAL AND CONTINUE WITH OTHERS
