Neff oven u1421 element failure, electricity fault?

The heating element on my Neff fan oven has failed. I have replaced the element on a previous occasion without difficulty. On this occasion the new element wont work. I have determined now that there is no electric power in the leads going to the element. The oven fan and light are coming on normally when the oven is switched on. It is not apparent to me there is an easy fix to this one. Is this a problem you recognise? Any advice please.

Hi,
I have same problem but have not yet taken element out. Try a continuity test on the element with a meter first to ensure that you have a good element. If thats ok then I would say that maybe you are not getting voltage to the element. Try measuring the voltage across the leads but be careful use clips and be careful that the leads dont touch. Failing that I would then go to the controller and work from there.
Good luck
Alex
