removing engine from Nissan Serena MPV?

I have a 1993 Nissan Serena 2 litre turbo diesel with a ruined head due to a timing belt failure. Will I get away with replacing the head only? If not what is the best way of removing and refitting the engine?

Hi Phil,
The turbo diesel is an import model that wasn't sold in this country, so parts will be hard to get.

With that in mind, your options would seem to be :
1. Get in touch with a local cylinder head engineering firm.
2. Try to source an exchange engine.

Best wishes, Mick
