my key has an immoliser on it ive changed the batterys cause my car wouldnt start i need the immobliser to start my car and with out it i cant start it ive been told i need it recodeing do you know how to do the code its a renault luguna 1996 1.8

i have a program that finds the code for immobiliser, need a couple of numbers, one from key and one from the door sticker inside drivers door, my key wouldnt unlock doors, therefor the immobiliser was on and car wouldnt start, renault have quoted £150 for resetting key, but found code and resynced key myself for nothing. Works with renaults that have IR locking, check key first to see its working, if you have a mobile phone with camera or digicam, point key at the lens and press button, on the screen you should see a white/blue light flash
