Water pump or Electric Shower?

I have economy 7 storage heaters and water tank on the same level.

Instead of having an electric shower fitted I would like to have a pump fitted to the hot water pipe on the water tank which is housed next door to the bathroom. The cold water pressure is fine.

This way I can use the hot water in the tank and use a shower connection on the bath taps, which is fine when I use it to shower with cold water.

I understand that the pump has to be conected to an electricity supply and a fuse box.

Is it worth it or is this a case of six of one and half a dozen of the other?

you can put a pump on the hot supply but for a decent pump is about £200 up + fitting and an electric shower is £100 up + fitting or go for a power shower at about the same price.
