my fiat bravo keeps dying on me!?

i have an r reg fiat bravo,is tay in renfrew.it keeps dying and ive just bought it off someone :-( was told was fuse box moving,got that sorted, went a 3 hour drive yesterday,got to my parents tried to start up to go home, nothing,not turning over or anything just making clicking noise when i trun the key. bro thinks it might be tiehr starter or oil, anyone any ideas?single mum in need of help! :-(

Might be a daft one but check your battery leads are secure, if they are not then it wont work!! I had exactly the same problem!!

sounds like ur batteries flat try jump starting it .get alternator and battery checked out

you need to try jump starting it first. Attach your jump leads as following: + end from donor batt to + end of dead batt, - end from donor batt to a known good earth, for example any bolt attached to engine or body. run the engine on the donor car for 5 mins then try starting the car with dead batt.

If this works, then you most likely have a problem with either your alternator not keeping the charge or a fault earth. keep us updated and I may be able to help further.
