My Snapper S31S weedeater starts, revs up but quits?

When I push the primer button fuel spirts out the of weep hole on the carburator. The weedeater only runs as long as the fuel port has gas in it I guess. I choke it ,Prime it and try to start it. It fires up but dies in fifteen seconds or so. I pushed the primer and felt pressure release on it. I notice now when I push the primer fuel spirts out of the weep hole in the carb. What do you think this means? Did I ruin the carb or did I just flood it?

Just take the carb off dude....I had the prob.... f'ed with it for hours and finally just took the carb apart used carb cleaner ...even take the jets out and clean...then reassemble. tight'n carb screws snug...rotate out 1 and 1/4 turns and try restarting...you need two people one to hold it and pull and one to adjust the carb....note you may need to spray carb cleaner in the chamber while cranking to get the fuel priming early..
