I have a Ford Galaxy Tdi. I have recent problem with my handbrake light. I wont go off completely. When the handbrake is released the light goes dim but not off completely. The brake fluid has been checked and topped up. But the problem still exists. Help.

sounds as if the swich under the handbrake lever is a bit dodgy.disconnect it & see what happens.if the light comes on when u disconnect it,bridge the 2 wires together if the light goes out completly the switch is knacked.it might go out when u disconnect it,depends on which way the switch works
