Stop leaking water from soap powder tray during wash cycle?

Model is a Zanussi - jetstem, turbodry 1200 washing machine.
About three-quarters the way through a normal wash-cycle, water starts pouring out from the soap powder tray. I have to stop the cycle, set 'to drain' and put the wet clothes on a 'spin' cycle.
Question How do I stop this happening? What has gone wrong? Will it cost lots of money to repair as I am on a low wage & living on my own?

If the machine is not emptying fast enough, when it spins it will throw the water upwards and out of the soap box. Watch it to see if it's emptying alright.

Besides this, if the machine is leaning forward, it will leak from the soap box.

if u take ur tray out and wash it that usually works 4 me.try it as if it does work it wont cost nothing
