how to make a @ sign on advent 7801 laptop? because have problem don't know how to tried shift and @ key,make a model detail thats clear and understandable

if you press shift and 2 it should give you an @ ??
it is your keyboard language set to us..go to control panel and regional and language icon and in there add united kingdom (English britsh) then apply.. then highlight us and remove.. then restart your pc..hope this helps.
Ps/ its because when you load windows it defaults to us settings!!

when you do shift + @ do you get one of these: " instead?
If so, do shift + " & you'll get your @.

To properly fix this you'll need to mess about with your keyboard nationality setup - it might be set to english (US) rather than UK or whatever, & keyboards are setup a little differently around the world.
