Where can i get a wiring diagram for a 1991 Iveco Daily 2.5 turbo van?

The speedo on my 1991 Iveco Daily 2.5 turbo van stopped working recently. I fitted another but it still didn't work. all the wiring looks ok but without a diagram, I can go no further. Where can I find one?

There is a brown wire connected to the battery earth clamp that is often coming off. This is the earth for the tacho and was the fault with my own not working. See if yours is connected

I am having ALL the same problems!!!

I have an Iveco 59-12. Year 1991, and the tacho/speedo stopped working. As I have converted the vehicle into a motorhome, I decided to swap the tacho speedo for a non- tacho one. This non-tacho speedo jujst plugs straight in and is from a 35-10 and it was working in the donor vehicle but we cannot get it to work in my motorhome.

We have replaced the sender unit in the gearbox and still it doesn't work, we have even refitted it to the donor vehicle and it works in there too! Like you, we are getting power to the unit and have checked all the relevant fuses. My mechanic says the only thing we can do is find a wiring diagram and he says as long as its from an Iveco of a similar age it will do! So maybe we can help each other if or when we get our hands on one! Best wishes and Good Luck.

I have the same van but slightly different symptoms. Speedo still works but goes balistic from time to time. The fuse to my panel blows (10A - linked to right tail light!) and I have come to associate it with wet weather. Have only just started to investigate as it work 99% of the time but can see there is trouble brewing - a wiring diagram would be great but I can't find one.

Note to JBM:- Thanks for your suggestions. The fuses are ok and the tacho still works fine. I believe it is a supply or return problem as the small clock above the speedo died at the same time.

1. check the fuses
2. change the sensor on the gearbox
