How can I fix my child's trousers with holes in the knee's?

I have three very active Elementary school age kids. The school that they attend is a standurd dress uniform. They have put holes in the knees of the pants. They are made of 100% cotton. I would hate to throw them away. I have around six pair of pants, I didn't know if the holes can be fixed our do I just need to by new ones

It would be easy to fix these! You can buy iron on patches in a variety of colors at most fabric stores. Simply turn the pants inside out and follow the directions on the patches to repair. These hold up for quite a long time, your children might even outgrow the pants before the patches wear off. Good luck!
