my car is a 1.25 fiesta Lx 53reg & my engine management light kept flashing on and off last week and the car became sluggish and kept cutting out at junctions. i had the coil pack and plugs/switches changed and it was fine, a week on and the light is back on only this time its not flashing its constantly on but the car is driving fine why is this?

did you change the spark leads? i had a similar problem with mine, seems to be most fiesta's are having this problem when they hit 3 yrs, the inner lead breaks down and causes it to be sluggish and occasionly misfire

sorry but uve still got a problem u realy need it pluged in by a mechanic so diagnosis can be done, you cud try disconectin the battery overnight this resets some on board computers, did u buy petrol from one of those affected petro stations a few weeks back ? again a trip to the local mechanic, but dont just egnore it sereos and costly damage cud be occuring as we speak . g.l. lee
