Vectra 2.2 sxi dti(2003)?

I have just got new rear brake pads and new brake discs put on by local garage.I know i have to bed them in for a while,but the handbrake is now loose.Will this tighten up as the new brakes bed in or how do i tighten it.?It was ok before new brakes.
