Saunier Duval Xeon 60FF Boiler - Fan Hunting?

The boiler won't fire up, the flue fan just keeps stopping & starting. Followed Faulting guide & swapped Air pressure switch & control board, checked all piping, also swapped fan but no change. Any idea's? Also what is the Air pressure switch actually "looking" for? Positive pressure down the red pipe, vacuum up the clear? If I disconnect both pipes to the switch the fan will run constantly but the boiler still doesn't fire up.

done
let the fan cool down and spray it with wd 40 you'll get another few weeks out of it then, a pain but if your short on money it will help.

I have had to change the fan assembly on my saunier duval xeon 60 ff three times in the past three years ! My gas engineer says it is a design fault and they simply overheat. Anyone else had a similar problem and is there a solution ? The part is around £165 so the repairs are very expensive

Hi
Did you sort out your problem, What was it as I appear to be having the same problem with my boiler and fan.

Have you still got a fan for sale as yours did not work.
replacement fan should do the trick.

make sure the venturi isnt blocked or cracked, check the resistance on all of the interuptors, and make sure the petentiometer is set correctly and check the terminal and the amount of elbows on the run with the MIs.

I know this might sound obvious but have you made sure that the gas supply is ok. if your meter box is outside check that kids have'nt been messing with it
