How do I fix a water leak on Lg Intello washing M/C?

I have a water leak on a LG Intello DD Washing Machine which appears to come from the powder/softener drawer, is this a design fault or is there a solution to the problem.

remove soap draw check its not got a blockage check water pressure is not to high reduce intake of water normally the cold blue hose
