I have an Astra 1600 LS Estate. I recently renewed the battery and on connecting it, the initial external temperature now reads around 56 degrees...not likely in April in the UK! (Other than giving an incorrect reading it seems to be working ok!)

Any ideas on how to reset it would be appreciated.

Does it work to subtract 32 from the figure shown and then multiply 5 and divide by 9?
It sounds like it may default to displaying in farenheit, don't know how you would go about changing it though.

I know this will sound stupid but disconnect battery at the positive side ......take and ground the pos cable to frame
We used to have trouble on Cadillacs with gauges and this was the fix .......worked every time ....yea I know weird !
