How do I unblock a Bissell Quick Wash 1950, have cleaned all obvious pts?

Machine is not discharging water at all after cleaning all obvious appertures.

having had the same problem we took the machine apart and found that the lever action does not push the "spindle" far enouigh to open the valve. This means that no water is delivered when the trigger is squeezed. One would assume that there is a blockage, but this is not the case. Somehow we need to "tighten up" the mechanism from trigger to valve, using an ad hoc solution......in layman's language, everything is too loose inside the machine and it needs tightening up. Whether it's a design fault or a case of someone taking the mahine apart and losing a small but essentiqal part I don't know

What is there to be blocked! The water if feed from the tank at the back down a tube that goes in turn to a blue multi holed water bar at the front remove tube from blue bar and with a mouth full of water blow into central hole, water should flow out of this line of holes if not clear holes with a pin one at a time. Take off black cap at bottom of filler tank blow into black pipe and push up bottom plunger blow into this to clear IF blocked. Dirty water tant can go like a fish tant if not cleaned, green - slim - and smelly, its hard to get into all corners. There is hardly anything to be blocked on this unit, as water is drop feed. Make such that the thin gap at bottom front is not got any carpet fibres in that gap, if so remore.
