MY HEATER ONLY BLOWS OUT COLD AIR EVEN WHEN ITIS ON HOT IV CHECKED THE FUSES BUT THEY ARE FINE WHAT CAN I DO?

Hy my heater matrix on fiat punto1999 leak again shortly after i change the old one .What happening?The heat in the car work,but it leak in car and the coolant in the expansion recipient is under MINIMUM ...thx

my fait punto when i put water in it come back out the lid is on but it still comes out my heter is blowing cold air icant drive far coz i will lose all the water and it overheats

The damm head gasket has blown on my punto 2001 reg,can anybody tell me if its easy to do myself or not.

if the front carpets are wet, and radiator is low on water
then the hearer matrix is leaking
fix or short circut it
before you blow the engine

RADWELD my heater matrix went so i disconnected it from behind the engine you dont have 2 take nothing off u just disconnect the 2 pipes that lead into it then get yourself some radweld when ya do finally get hold of some connect the matrix bk up and poor radweld into your radiator if the damage is not 2 bad it will weld itself and i done that about a yr ago and shes still going

hi, i took my car to the garage and the guy said my heater matrix system has to be disconnected so he done it, then he told me my head gasket is about to blow do u think any of there liquid steelers will help just now

Hi there,check to see if you have any water leaks anywhere, including inside the car.If you also have to keep topping the coolant level up aswell and/or the temperature light comes on then this could also be head gasket failure.One of the first signs for head gasket failure on these punto's is when the heater starts to blow cold when heater is set to blow hot.This is because the engine will take water from the heater matrix before it takes it from the radiator...

the heater matrix definatly mi mates got the same problem when he turns his car on to let the heat drain out of the engine it only does cold air, plus its also true that it will leak and if it hasn't leaked into the all over the foot wells then its probably poured out over the road or something and it wont effect the ecu because thats cased in water proof protection fool how do u think it survives when it rains!!!. I thinking about buying a punto but looking at all the problems im not going to bother, price of heater matrix and labour total = 300 200 for the heater matrix and 50 pound an hour replacing it because the whole front panel has to come off

Hi,
Not entirely sure but I do know that your Punto is in the age group where if the heater matrix goes it can leak onto the ECU and knacker it. I would suggest checking for leaks, especially if you've been putting water in lately.
