White Knight CL 247 not heating?

I have a white night CL 427 sonsodry which is only blowing out cold air, I keep the filter clean and have tried the red reset button on the back but this has not worked. Should/can I replace the heating element.

heaters break down lots but so do thermostats. do you have multi-meter to test continuity?
