My hotpoint Ice Diamond Fridge Freezer seems to make strange buzzing/whirring noises thoughout the day/night, has done it since i bought it over a year ago, is this normal? any suggestions please....

the green light is for the mains i.e. shows power is reaching the fridge. the red light is showing that your fridge/freezer is not above the correct storage temperature.
