bocsh exxcel 1400 washing machine?

I have a Bosch 1400 exxcell washing machine that appears to be skipping its spin cycle as the clothes are saturated. When i put it on spin mode the electronic counter counts from 11 to 8 then jumps to 1 thus missing the spin cycle. Can anyone help?

they usually skip if theres a fault pump or front panel
