How can I mend my Zanussi DX6452 dishwasher?

The Anti-flood device seems to activate everytime I try to use the dishwasher and stops the programme. How can I self-repair this?
A J Ainsworth, April 2007
the anti flood device kicks in if water is in the bottom of the dishwasher this stops it working as there is a float in the bottom that triggers a switch to tell the machine to stop working.

try tipping the washer back ove this will get the water ou so make sure you have a towel at hand.

the machine should work again if it does stop again then you have a leak.
check the pipe inside the dishwaer at the top right hand side this sometimes comes loose.

or take side panel off run program and check for leaks.
