The engine keeps cutting when i have been running the car for more then 2 hours or so. When i stop to give way it cuts out but i am still able to restart but then it will keeps cutting out till the car has cooled down. My fan is not working could this be the reson.?????????

Cheers for that Mike i cleaned all of the hoses and in doing so i found the the idol vavle was also not clean i sorted all of this my car is now fine Thanks alot for your help.

Your right vauxhall are not cheap.

ECOTEC engine?
If so it sounds like the crank case breathers are becoming choke with oil and dust. Quick fix is to replace these breather hoses. If you get Vauxhall to do it they have an additional mod that is supposed to prevent the oil rising into the hoses, but in true Vauxhall tradition, it isn't cheap.

I will attempt to find a link that explains this better.
