My R300 has descided to tell me that it neads servicing and there are parts are at the end of there service life
Is this a ploy by epson to get you to pay to have the printer re set? Is there a softwhere i can down load that will re set the printer? Iv bean told that this signal will come up after the heads have bean cleaned so meany times. If thats the case its governd by how meany times i tirn it on and off ,because it gose into clean moad each time its tirned on.
I would be verry intrested in your coments pleas

Mike, you may have by now solved your R300 prob. if youv'e seen the other replys on this site as I did. My experience was the same as yours, not much joy from PC world (my supplier) the Epson help desk not giving too much away and all trying to get me to replace the printer (2 years old), but I did follow the reset proceedure below after 1st cleaning up the excess ink (with tissue) from the ink pad below the print head. The proceedure as follows.:-
Hold down the stop and maintance button,while holding them down turn off the printer keep the buttons pressed down for 10 seconds turn the printer on then release the buttons, the printer will reset itself to original factory settings, once it has done this turn off the printer then turn it on again it will print as before
