Hi. Having a similar problems with my Escort. Normally when you start the car, you hear the sound of the fuel pump before you start the car. There is no sound from the pump and the starter motor doesnt turn. Been informed by Green Flag and a Ford dealer that it could be the immobiliser and that it or the key fob may have to be re-programmed. The LED isn't on when you try to start the car, nor does it give out any error codes. All other electrical systems work ok. Will send my vehicle to Ford dealers to see what they say.
