How can I fix my Favorit 50610 AEG Dishwasher?

The top and the middle light are flashing in the multi-display which suggests that the anti-flood system has been triggered.

I have a Favorit F86050VI dishwasher and it too had flood tray sensor issues...i.e. the 3 beeps came on and it would just sit in 'draining mode' sucking water out of the machine and not doing the normal wash cycle. I followed the advice of tilting the dishwasher (when off) 45 degrees backwards. Hey presto, the water drained out the back of my dishwasher and onto the floor. After cleaning that up, I turned the machine on and it worked straight away. Saved a call out for an engineer. Thanks everyone

Problem with AEG Competence oven. Apparently, while cleaning my oven, some water has reprogrammed the appliances' computer chip. The oven does not seem to function, and it is on 'auto' mode. Can anybody help me de-activate the 'auto' mode so it canb start function again?? Thnxs

If it has been triggered then
You have to sort the cause of the blockage and fix it.
Now for the dishwasher:
There is a tray underneath the dishwasher to catch flood water. This is also the place where the flood sensor is. If you had a small flood that tray is now full of water.
You can either wait for it to dry
or
after putting down drop sheets, towels etc
Pull the dishwasher out and gently tip the dishwasher which will spill the trapped water over the floor.
You may have to do this a few times but eventually the remaining trapped water will be below the sensor and it should work.

Once that is done you can either wait until it

I'm sorry I don't know but if you find out I'd really like to know as I'm on the point of throwing mine out of the window! Troubleshooting says "The sink outlet is blocked" or "The water drain hose is not correctly laid" but I've checked both of these carefully. Here's hoping somebody has solved the problem.
