How can I tighten up loose wood dining chalr legs?

The support pieces have become loose and just gluing doesnt seem to help.

There's a great product available through Lee Valley Tools (online) that is specifically for this problem. The special glue comes with two different sized hypodermic-type needles so you can inject it where needed, and it actually makes the wood swell as well as gluing. We've used it with great success on several old wooden chairs that were in the habit of disintegrating as you picked them up.
