I have a 1995 nissan micra, and the reverse light is not working, IO have replaced the bulb and nothing, also I have used a phase tested and nothing.

I have the same problem on my 1994 micra, and apparently the reverse light switch is in the gearbox which should easily by accessible from the bonnet. The gearbox is located to the right of the engine bay and there should only by one wire going to it for the reverse switch, which can be unscrewed from the gearbox and will probably need replacing.
