Shower has gone mildly warm?

What used to be a good shower now only takes the chill off the water. I have tried adjusting the water pressure and swaping the thermostat but nothing seems to work. Occasionally it will start just hot enough only to cool down again within minutes. It is an Essentials shower unit? (Prob. B&Q own make?)
Any Ideas?

i agree with mike but it might be worth adding a scale master to your water main if the water contains high lime content

Lime Scale, I am assuming that you have a electric shower. Sounds like one of the elements is scaled up or has failed. Either way it would be cheaper to replace the shower unit. When buying a new one try to find one of a simular size, or an exact replacement. This way it is easier to replace.
