hi ive had my ghd straightners over a yera ago now ,i havent got my reciept or a guarantee,they have stoped working.the light no longer clomes on and they just dont heat up.i have been told that there is a brake in the wire near the end of the straightners,i have took them apart but there is nothing i can do to fix them because i cant get to the part which i have been told that is broke.they are the normal size ghds,not the wide ones or the tiny ones.does anyone know where i can get them fixed or what i can do.MANY THANKS my email address is t.evans613@ntlworld.com

go onto to ebay, type in GHD FAULTY and there are a few people on there who fix them for 15.00-20.00, alternativly if u no longer wish to keep them i will buy them off u for a small fee if u wish x

Same thing happened my girlfriend's ghd's - 3 times! Probably a break in the wire near where the power cable enters the handle. Take it to somebody who can do a bit of electrical work and get them to strip back the cable, cut and join (solder) and heat-shrink it. This should get you back on the road for a while.
