the head could be warped causing it not to seal properly, take the head off and set it on a flat piece of glass or mirror, if it wobbles your head is warped easiest way to fix it depending on the severity of it being warped is to set a piece of emry cloth on the glass and rub the head on it in a circular motion until i doesnt wobble anymore if your head isnt warped clean out the o-ring seats real good i just tore my 1991 KTM 250 dxc apart lastnight and dicovered that i need my cylinder bored because my rings broke apart and got wedged between the piston and cylinder tearing everything apart my cank bearings went bad aswell im planning on selling it pretty cheap after i get it all repaired right it ran like a bat out of hell befor so i can imagine it after i bore it so if your lookin for another ktm like the one you have im planning on seling it for $1000 if your interested or have any other questions about your bike you can reach me at 724 722 4534 im only 16 so i dont get home from school until 3:00 so dont call untill then
