screen wash in radiator?

What happens if you accidently poured about 300 mls of diluted screenwash in to your radiator waterbottle? I have a fiat punto 1.2 w reg and i noticed a leak underneath the bonnet of the car.. went to check the fluid level of the radiator and noticed it was below the minimim and a sound of something loose coming from the engine when it was turned on. Could not see anything obvious . I added the bottle of what i thought was anti freeze in which turned out it was diluted screen wash with anti freeze .

Hi,
Forgot to mention, have a look at your water pump before you do the flush. If its leaking from around the pump you may be just about to have a failure and an overheat when it fails.

Hi,
Don't worry too much, any coolant is better than none. What I would do is drain the system at the next chance you get, you can flush most of the system by leaving a hose off at the lowest point in the engine bay and pouring water (a hose maybe) in the system filling point. Once you have flushed the system reconnect the hose and refill the system. The main reason for going through this is because you have not only anti-freeze but anti corrosion additives in the coolant, you don't in screen wash.
Cheers now
