my washer don't spin

susan, September 2011
I just went online and purchased the parts. Thanks so much for the information. Anything else I should know before the parts arrive on Monday? I am wondering if I can do the instillation on the appliance myself (small female that has no real gift for fixing thing)

BTW, a good place to go for parts is repairclinic.com. Get the model number of your machine (the site will show you where to look-mine was under the lid toward the back of the machine). Pop in the info and you will get a picture of the parts you need. I don't know if yours is the same model as mine, but my parts cost $13.95 plus shipping ($9 for 2 day)

Mine just did that again. That's right. Second time. Wife continues to overload it.

It's a pretty easy fix, though. Turn the washer on its back. (Make sure it's empty first.) You will find the motor and transmission. There is a plastic and rubber arrangement connecting the motor to transmission. The motor's held in with a couple of clips. There is a rubber disk about 3/4" thick. It has 6 holes in it. There are 2 white plastic discs-one on the motor, one on the transmission-with three pins each in them. They fit into the holes in the rubber disk. You need to remove the motor, remove those parts and replace them. I was in the process of looking for them myself when I googled your question.

Hope this helps.
