The drum does not turn and the machine gets stuck mid-cycle - water pumping round and emptying OK when you manually advance the controls but no action from the drum at any stage of the cycle. Also if you manually advance it to the end of the cycle, you get a regular 'clicking' sound which starts as soon as the door unlocks - this carries on until you switch the power off. Filter is clear, machine about 10 years old.
