my honda xr 125 wont start? i rode for bout half an hour then it just conked out i have now put a new wiring loom on it with all new switches,battery,starter solernoid,cdi unit and rectifier and it still wont turn over. no lights come on with the ignition on and i have found that it turns over only when i place a wire from the battery to the starter solenoid. can any help would be gratful for any advice on it thanks.

i just sorted my 125 xr out wouldnt start just got a click from selanoid when i pressed the start button after going through everything i took the nuts off the possitive pole and there are some fibre washers under the bottom bolt there was alittle rust bridgeing the washers onto the first nut , took everything off cleaned with wire brush puty it all back together a bingo eveything works fine .
it was sorting the possative out to the body of the starter motor easy fix in the end

i know this is silly but have you looked at the fuse on the selonoid.
