Most likely cause is a fractured wire in the cord... not an uncommon problem with GHD's. Alternatively it could be your micro processor. We can replace your damaged cord, broken plate mounts or damaged plates with high quality replacement parts and bring your GHD back to life.

eitherfaulty cable, microtemp ( overheat protector) or wires broken at back of heating plates,some repairs can be carried out, broken wires at plates, onl way to fix is 2nd hand plates off old ghd. any more assistance e-mail jonsemple@talktalk.net

most likely cause is cable,( sometimes can be repaired sometimes require new cable) if repaired £15 if new cable £30, other cause is internal called microtemp, to replace £28, last fault ia wires at bak of heating plates, cannot do anything with these as ghd will not sell spares only chance with these if we have 2nd hand ones taken from old ghd, microtemp and cable is not 2nd hand feel free to e-mail jonsemple@talktalk.net
